Michelle has been painting and exhibiting for over 25 years and has exhibited with ING Discerning eye,rbsa, Royal Institute of oil painters and the new english art club.
paintings or drawings are done from the subject, often a starting point for further works which evolve over time in an attempt to evoke the experience and presence of the subject remembered. The process often involves scraping back and overpainting until a conclusion seems to have been reached.
Her paintings reflect a sensitive and personal vision of the language of a landscape, its subtleties, vagaries and quirks captured in a painterly, yet structured way.
