What do the artists think?
Open Studios was great, I had lots of visitors to my new studio in town. I sold quite a bit of my work, including an original I had on the wall, which made it really worthwhile in terms of the costs involved in taking part. It’s surprising, the cross section of visitors you get: tourists, other artists, art students asking advice and members of the public keen to support events around the town. It’s definitely something I will take part in again and again.
