I am a gestalt sculptor, who starts from a place of uncertainty and searches for form in an eclectic world. My ideas could be constructed in elements as varied as breezeblocks or confetti. The message, and the medium that expresses that message grow in tandem, using gestalt ideas of structural economy and closure to create things that are new and meaningful. I try and find the most direct way of communicating complex ideas. The sculptures are tactile, and often interactive and humorous. I teach at the RCA in london.
