While my children were growing up, I attended different art courses to update my existed skills as well as tuitions that taught me new skills. One of which was the art of Stained Glass techniques both in Traditional Leaded Light and Copper Foiling and also Glass Fusing. I still attend Master Stained Glass Courses now to acquire further knowledge.

September 2014, I started my present studio, Studio Yi, at the Shrewsbury Market Hall. I had been here for 12 years now. I run Stained Glass courses every Thursday. I give Textiles tuition on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I take on commission works both in Stained Glass and Textiles. I also restored vintage and antique chairs that required Caning, Rushing, Seagrass and Danish Cord weaving. Whenever I can, I produce artworks for sale at my Studio. I am absolutely passionate about what I do and love every moment of it!

10-4pm Friday & Saturday
Due to the Market Hall being closed on Sundays, the artists and makers there will be opening their studios on the Friday 27th and Saturday 28th to ensure as many people as possible can pop over to see them during SYOS!
