Jancis Vaughan is a versatile printmaker and visual artist, based in Shrewsbury.

Jancis studied Fine Art at De Montfort University, Lincoln, as a returning mature student, before moving to Shropshire. She is a member of the Wrexham Regional Print Centre, with whom she regularly takes part in the 20:20 Print Exchange with other printmakers from around the world.

Jancis had her first solo exhibition (Re:Generation) at the VAN (Visual Art Network) Gallery in Shrewsbury in April 2017, which explored the lace doilies inherited from her mother in the context of the natural world. She has exhibits regularly both locally and regionally.

Jancis is active in arts education, running workshops and after school art clubs at primary schools in Shropshire, and as an Arts Award Adviser enabling young people to participate and achieve in the arts.
