My name is Grace Amber Currie, I am a second year fine art student at Chester Uni. I focus on producing mixed media, abstract art pieces; it gives me the freedom to paint whatever I want coming from my unconsciousness.
I started producing art work after I suffered a catastrophic acquired brain injury back in 2010, I find art to be a beneficial way of expressing my feelings and has a greatly impacted on me and has helped me overcome what I have been through. My work is abstract using different paints, tools, colours and sizes. My artwork also changes through different stages of my life and how I’m feeling/seeing the world at the time.
I am very passionate about my artwork. I have recently had my very first own art exhibition (Terror and Joy 2019) and this was a success and I thoroughly enjoyed it – selling my first three paintings, I am definitely working towards more art exhibitions in the near future.
